Blend Uniformity

REDUCED TESTING

The most common method of blending uniformity (BU) is through the use of timing and random sampling. Traditionally, the blend is run for a certain amount of time with samples taken and run through an HPLC to confirm proper ratios. The use of NIR can replace the use of HPLC by showing accurate blending with every batch, thereby reducing slower product turnovers and wasted product.

DETERMINE BLEND UNIFORMITY

Brimrose solid state, robust components enable our spectrometers to be integrated directly to the blender for real-time measurement. Our spectrometers determine when blending is complete, minimizing production time, and cost to market of your products.

A PROVEN ADVANTAGE

Successful implementation of a Brimrose AOTF-NIR spectrometer results in:

  • Ensured Quantitative & Qualitative Accuracy
  • Faster Product Turnover
  • Reduced Blend Times
  • Less Wasted Product
  • Assured Uniformity
